Mark Suchy

Managing Director

Mark is the Managing Director and founder of Core Capital Asia. With over 21 years real estate experience with 18 years experience in China, including 3 significant deals in the US and Canada, Mark has developed an extensive knowledge of managing all aspects of an investment transaction. Transactions led by Mark have totaled over USD 2.23 Billion in office and retail disposals and acquisitions.

Prior to starting Core Capital Asia, Mark worked as Executive Director in C&W where he oversaw the company’s Investment Brokerage Department responsible for managing local and foreign clients with a focus on sourcing portfolios for disposition. Mark also has experience in China Outbound Investments having worked in CBRE where he was responsible for CBRE’s Outbound Investment Platform and concluded significant transactions in Los Angeles, New York and Toronto while based in Shanghai.

Kenny Shen

Executive Director

Shanghai-born Kenny Shen has a Bachelor’s degree in law. He is a well-established broker in the Shanghai market with a knack for finding exceptional investment opportunities in the harshest of market conditions.

With over 21 years of real estate experience, Kenny’s strong network of local developers and extensive knowledge of commercial projects in the city makes him indispensable at Core Capital Asia. Kenny has exceptional market knowledge but what really sets him apart from the competition is his deep understanding of Shanghai’s real estate submarkets and planning, district by district. Kenny previously worked for Cushman & Wakefield for over 10 years before moving to Core Capital Asia and has achieved an impressive track record in his career there.

Liz Liu

Associate Director

Liz Liu, CFA, brings exceptional local and international experience to the Core Capital Team. Liz achieved her BA in Economics from BJFU and her MS in Management from Fordham University in New York City. As the Head Analyst for CCA she is responsible for the team’s marketing, underwriting and deal structuring. She has more than 6 years of real estate experience.

Prior to joining Core Capital Asia, Liz worked as a Business Analyst in Sanofi Aventis in China and has a deep understanding of western businesses operating in China. With an in depth knowledge of valuations and financial modelling Liz’s unique perspective brings valuable insight to the team.

Sheldon Parent
Executive Director, Hospitality Investments

Sheldon Parent is a Canadian-born hospitality real estate professional with 18 years of experience in development, including a decade dedicated to hotels and resorts. His career spans seven countries across the Asia Pacific region, reflecting a deep understanding of diverse markets. Sheldon graduated from Cornell University’s prestigious “Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management” program, underscoring his expertise in the field.

Sheldon previously work as a Director with Colliers Hotels and Leisure, where he specialized in cross-border hospitality real estate investments and represented owners in Hotel Management Agreement and Franchise negotiations. He has played a pivotal role in startup hotel real estate groups, notably contributing to the growth of Outpost, a pioneering co-live/co-work brand. Currently, as the head of the hospitality sector at Core Capital Asia, Sheldon leverages his extensive industry knowledge and strategic acumen to identify suitable projects for investors.

Marc Bosnyak

Debt Advisory

Marc Bosnyak is a debt consultant for CCA who works for the Estreich & Company and brings more than 20 years of banking experience from JP Morgan and Capital Trust in New York followed by 9 years heading Standard Chartered as a senior real estate investment banker in Shanghai. More recently Marc spent the past year running the Asia desk for Estreich & Co., a prestigious New York real estate advisory firm.

Given Marc’s vast experience he is able to organize many facets of the capital stack, and is especially experienced in On/Offshore structures. This includes senior debt from existing and new entrants to the market, mezzanine and bridge financing at attractive rates and preferred equity tranches for funds looking for opportunistic returns. Marc also leads the CCA team in providing a number of additional Capital Market services including co-investing, JV formation and LP equity placement for blind pool, close ended and single asset focused funds.

Bunny Wang

Senior Director

A Shanghai native Bunny Wang is a well-respected member of the Shanghai Real Estate community. During her 20-year career in the business Bunny has gained extensive experience in Investment, Office leasing and International Residential Investment including stints in Sydney and London.

Bunny’s unique skill-set has helped her conclude a wide range of advisory roles and transactions. With significant buy side experience some of the larger transactions she has advised on include mixed used development projects in London and Cambodia. Bunny was also instrumental in developing the Outbound Investment Service line for Colliers and Knight Frank. Prior to joining Core Capital Bunny also worked as a National Director of Capital Markets at Jones Lang Lasalle.
